Crocheting Hats

I have been crocheting and crafting for years, but it hasn’t been until I was at home raising my young children that I have considered creating a part-time living from selling my creations. Over the past few years, I have spent many evenings making hats at the request of friends and family (and other parents who have seen my children wearing my crochet accessories). Many of these hats have been custom designs, and I have loved the challenge of coming up with the perfect hat that a child would love to wear. Last year I started selling my products online via www.chattermouse.nz  and I have recently been developing hat and ear warmer patterns that feature unique designs and aren’t what your nana would make. I love creating something that is well made and unique that my children and friends love to wear.

A little about me

Welcome everyone, I hope you enjoy perusing my crochet creations and general rants about life. Do stay a while and browse around. If you do stick around, you’ll see I have a lot to share and say.

I am a Dunedin based mum of three. Raising three children keeps me busy, but I still manage to find time to enjoy the finer things in life like crafting, running and plant-based cooking. I started blogging to keep my creative side inspired and to take time out to share with others while the days go by.
